Habitat and Description: Rare, a few mown plants in native/exotic grassland vegetation on sandy spots of mosaic of sandy and clayey soils on level upland underlain by Beaumont Formation. Associates include Ambrosia psilostachya, Bouteloua rigidiseta, Buchloe dactyloides, Cenchrus spinifex, Chamaecrista fasciculata, Commelina erecta, Cynodon dactylon, Desmanthus virgatus, Dichanthium annulatum, Eragrostis secundiflora, Menodora heterophylla, Pennisetum ciliare, Rhynchosia americana, Sida lindheimeri, Urochloa panicoides.
