Habitat and Description: Locally frequent in not particularly moist fine sand in heavily grazed pasture about 5-10 feet above level of natural depressional wetland on level to very gently undulating landscape of South Texas Sand Sheet. Associates include Alophia drummondii, Bulbostylis capillaris, Croton capitatus, C. glandulosus, Cyperus squarrosus, Diodia teres, Evolvulus alsinoides, E. sericeus, Hypericum pauciflorum, Panicum hians, Portulaca umbraticola, Sida ciliaris, Urochloa ciliatissima, Zornia gemella.
