Habitat and Description: Common in weedy mesquite woodland on level upland underlain by Beaumont Formation. Associates include Castela erecta, Clematis drummondii, Celtis pallida, Cocculus diversifolius, Colubrina texensis, Panicum maximum, Pennisetum ciliare, Prosopis glandulosa, Xylothamia palmeri, Ziziphus obtusifolius.
