Habitat and Description: Occasional in exotics-dominated haymeadow on clayey soils of level upland underlain by Beaumont Formation. Haymeadow composed mostly of Dichanthium annulatum and Cynodon dactylon. Associates include Ambrosia confertiflora, A. psilostachya, Aphanostephus ramosissimus, Bothriochloa laguroides, Cirsium texanum, Convolvulus equitans, Evolvulus sericeus, Gaura brachycarpa, Grindelia sp., Helianthus annuus, Indigofera miniata, Lepidium sp., Lythrum alatum, Nassella leucotricha, Pennisetum ciliare, Phyla nodiflora, Plantago rhodosperma, Prosopis glandulosa, Rhynchosia minima, Ruellia nudiflora, Sarcostemma cynanchoides, Solanum elaeagnifolium, Sonchus sp., Vicia sp.
