Habitat and Description: Common in fallow field on leveled clayey soils on upland underlain by Beaumont Formation. Associates include Sorghum halepense, Teucrium cubense, Verbena halei, Cirsium texanum, Lythrum sp., Ambrosia psilostachya, Coreopsis tinctoria.
