Habitat and Description: Locally common in cracked clay in dry bed of seasonal pond in wet-weather stream (El Caro Creek) between very gentle slopes underlain by calcareous sandstone of the Lissie Formation. Associates include Ammoselinum butleri, Stachys crenata, Glinus radiatus, Helenium elegans, Teucrium cubense, Phyla nodiflora, Heliotropium procumbens, Nama sp.
