Habitat and Description: Plants essentially glabrous; corolla yellow with purple maculae; local in partial shade of hackberry in low diversity low stature deciduous riparian woodland somewhat saline alluvial clay on occasionally inundated S bank of Old Channel [of] Nueces River. Associates include Carex sp., Chloracantha spinosa, Clematis pitcheri, Fraxinus berlandieriana, Parkinsonia aculeata, Salix nigra, Solanum triquetrum, Urochloa maxima.
