Habitat and Description: Occasional in weedy mix of shrubs and exotic grasses in equipment storage / training area, on soils mapped as deep, well drained, friable, moderately alkaline loam (Clareville Series, Pachic Argiustolls), on lower part of gently undulating landscape underlain by caliche or calcareous sandstone of the Lissie Formation and largely converted to hay meadow. Associates include Acacia minuata, Aloysia gratissima, Aristida purpurea, Baccharis texana, Celtis pallida, Chloris ciliata, Clematis drummondii, Condalia hookier, Croton capitatus, Cynanchum barbigerum, Desmanthus virgatus, Digitaria cognata, Diospyros texana, Eragrostis curtipedicellata, E. cf. intermedia, Ipomoea cordatotriloba, Menodora heterophylla, Pennisetum ciliare, Prosopis glandulosa, Salvia coccinea, Sarcostemma cynanchoides, Serjania brachycarpa, Sida abutifolia, Urochloa fasciculata, Verbena halei, Xylothamia palmeri, Zanthoxylum fagara.
