Habitat and Description: Occasional in weedy mesquite-hackberry woodland on disturbed clayey soils of alluvial terrace on landscape underlain by caliche or calcareous sandstone of the Lissie Formation. Associates include Acacia minuata, Celtis cf. laevigata, C. pallida, Clematis drummondii, Dichanthium annulatum, Diospyros texana, Ehretia anacua, Salvia coccinea, Sarcostemma cynanchoides, Serjania brachycarpa, Teucrium cubense, Zanthoxylum fagara.
