Habitat and Description: A few plants in flower along road through mesquite-granjeno-pricklypear shrubland on clay or silt on nearly level topography at upper edge of river floodplain. Associates include Acacia greggii, Guaiacum angustifolium, Isocoma drummondii, Nyctaginea capitata, Opuntia leptocaulis, Pappophorum bicolor, Tidestroemia lanuginosa.
