Habitat and Description: Rare, a few plants among other forbs and grasses in rather dense herbaceous vegetation on somewhat sandy alluvium on higher part of river floodplain. Associates include Bromus catharticus, Chasmanthium latifolium, Cucurbita texana, Bernonia baldwinii, Corydalis micrantha, Cnidoscolus texanus, Berbesina encelioides, and Valerianella radiata.
