Habitat and Description: Occasional in slightly saline or sodic clay in bed of jeep road running along margin of riparian woodland and gulf cordgrass grassland, on nearly level frequently inundated floodplain of Nueces River. Associates include Ammoselinum butleri, Chloracantha spinosa, Descurainia pinnata, Fraxinus berlandieriana, Helianthus annuus, Parietaria pensylvanica, Plantago rhodosperma, Sonchus asper, Spartina spartinae, Stachys crenata.
