Habitat and Description: Frequent in exotics-dominated hay meadow on reddish-brown sandy loam on gently rolling upland underlain by Lissie Formation. Associates include Acalypha radians, Ammoselinum popei, Aphanostephus skirrhobasis, Bothriochloa saccharoides, Bouteloua rigidiseta, Cenchrus spinifex, Cirsium texanum, Commelina erecta, Daucus pusillus, Dichanthium annulatum, Digitaria cognata, Engelmannia pinnatifida, Gaura brachycarpa, Hedyotis nigricans, Hermannia texana, Hymenopappus artemisiifolius, Limnodea arkansana, Linum rigidum, L. imbricatum, Lithospermum incisum, Monarda punctata, Oenothera laciniata, Polypremum procumbens, Rudbeckia hirta, Schrankia uncinata.
