Habitat and Description: Occasional in strip of hackberry woodland along minor drainageway between regularly mown lawns or hay meadows on gently rolling topography underlain by Beaumont Formation. Associates include Celtis laevigata, C. pallida, Clematis drummondii, Parkinsonia aculeata, Teucrium canadense, Zanthoxylum fagara.
