Habitat and Description: About 100 plants in opening created by road cut through oak-pine forest on Pickton fine sandy loam on moderate slope underlain by Sparta Sand. Associates include Cnidoscolus texanus, Crotalaria sp., Croton argyranthemus, C. michauxii, Eupatorium compositifolium, Helianthus sp., Paronychia drummondii, Paspalum lividum.
