Habitat and Description:
Locally common in herbaceous wetland vegetation in heavy alluvial clay in tiny pond in bed of what was a large stock tank until the dam was breached, on gently undulating upland underlain by clayey Eocene strata of Jackson Group. Associates include Chamaesyce serpens, Chloracantha spinosa, Cynodon dactylon, Dichanthium annulatum, Echinochloa sp., Tridens albescens.
