Habitat and Description:
Common in open gravelly/chalky/limestone substrate on both sides of road. Leucophyllum and Prosopis dominant in surrounding hills. Leucophyllum flowering. Acalypha, numerous grasses, Ruellia, Simsia, Hedyotis, and many other plants on roadside flowering. Colubrina also present. Plants semi-erect. Leaves gray-green. Most individuals just finished flowering. Those immediately adjacent to road with a few pink to white corollas. Additonal material: DNA.
