Habitat and Description: Rare in bed of seldom-used road through Kleberg bluestem grassland on disturbed clay on gentle slope underlain by Beaumont Formation. Associates include Berberis trifoliolata, Castela erecta, Condalia hookeri, Croton cortesianus, Forestiera angustifolia, Guaiacum angustifolium, Gymnosperma glutinosum, Prosopis glandulosa, Yucca treculeana.
