Habitat and Description: Rare, local in moist tight fine sand or loamy sand in semi-open area on gentle slope along wet-weather drainageway on very gently undulating landscape of South Texas Sand Sheet. Associates include Agrostis hiemalis, Aphanostephus skirrhobasis, Chloris cucullata, Condalia hookeri, Coreopsis tinctoria, Drosera brevifolia, Dyssodia tenuiloba, Eleocharis sp., Lobelia berlandieri, Mecardonia procumbens, Plantago rhodosperma, Sabatia campestris, Tradescantia sp.
