Habitat and Description: Occasional in herbaceous vegetation in open area in broad rocky flat between two stream channels draining wooded limestone slopes. Associates include Allium canadense var. canadense, Elymus virginicus, Engelmannia pinnatifida, Eysenhardtia texana, Oenothera triloba, Sedum nuttallianum, and Tetraneuris linearifolia.
