Habitat and Description: Occasional in live oak savanna on clayey soils on flat along minor wet-weather stream. Associates include Bouteloua rigidiseta, Buchloe dactyloides, Chaetopappa asteroides, Lesquerella argyraea, Nassella leucotricha, Prosopis glandulosa, Quercus fusiformis.
