Locality: United States, Texas, Uvalde, Foot of N-facing slope on arm of ridge separating Long Canyon from Frio River, 3.4 airmiles S of low water crossing at Concan, 2.2 airmiles W to WSW of jct. F. M. 2759 and St. Rt. 127, at N29o26'48.4", W099o41'57.2". Concan Quadrangle. Elev. 1260 ft.

Habitat and Description: Evidently rare, a few dozen plants in one nondescript spot like thousands of others in area, under fairly old Ashe juniper on very gentle slope near bottom of broad and mostly open canyon bottom. Associates include Carex planostachys, Chaetopappa bellidifolia, Commelina erecta, Forestiera reticulata, Juniperus ashei, Parietaria pensylvanica, Phyllanthus polygonoides, Ruellia sp., Sophora secundiflora.
