Habitat and Description: Flats with red soil, below breaks in canyon floor, with mesquite, Zizyphus, Celtis, some sand sage, Opuntia leptocaulis. Locally abundant erect annual; fl lavender-pink with a few distal fine darker points on lower and upper lobe. (Collected with permission of the Pitchfork Ranch.).
