Habitat and Description:
Stems prostrate. Occasional in patchy herbaceous vegetation on deep, somewhat excessively drained, medium acid, noncalcareous, light colored fine sand Alfisols (Eufaula and Patilo series) on occasionally mown, unshaded, gently gloping roadcut underlain by Carrizo sand. Associates include Acalypha radians, Chamaecrista calycoides, Croptilon sp., Trachoneura elegans.
