Habitat and Description: Growing along roadside. Common in loose gravelly gypseous substrate. Larrea and Prosopis dominant in surrounding countryside. Tiquilia canescens (MJM 171) also common. Flowers bright pink with yellow throats. Plants actively growing due to recent rains.
