Habitat and Description: Occasional in mesquite-baccharis thicket on silty bank just above floodplain. Associates include Acacia sp., Baccharis neglecta, Berberis trifoliolata, Clematis drummondii, Dasylirion texanum, Ephedra antisyphilitica, Juniperus sp., Larrea tridentata, Mimosa sp., Prosopis glandulosa, Purshia ericifolia, Rhus microphylla, Ziziphus obtusifolius.
