Habitat and Description:
Rare, noted only on recently scaraped margin of two-track road through medium-stature blackbrush-colubrina shrubland on low ridge mantled with river-washed gravels, on gently rolling landscape underlain by Fleming and/or Oakville formations. Oakville SW Quadrangle. Associates include Acaia rigidula, Aloysia macrostachya, Colubrina texansis, Eysenhardtia texana, Hermannia texana, Houstonia nigricans, Phyllanthus polygonoides, Salvia ballotiflora, Wedelia texana, Yucca constricta, Zanthoxylum fagara.
