Habitat and Description: Occasional in loamy, somewhat sandy alluvium on low unshaded bank of perennial creek within red clay walls of entrenchment. Associates include Amorpha fruticosa, Andropogon hallii, Celtis sp., Euphorbia nutans, Gymnocladus dioicus, Helianthus maximiliani, Oenothera jamesii, Sapindus saponaria, Solidago (canadensis?), Sorghum halepense, Teucrium canadense, Verbesina encelioides, Vernonia baldwinii, Xanthium strumarium, Ulmus americana.
