Locality: United States, Texas, Yoakum, N side of an internal ranch road ca. 0.2-0.3 roadmiles W of its gate on W side of F.M. 1780 at a point 10.3 roadmiles N of jct. US 83/380, ca. 4.6 airmiles N to NNW of jct. F.M. 1780 and F.M. 2196, at Fitzgerald Ranch Preserve. Plains I SE Quadrangle. Elev. 3590 - 3600 ft.
Habitat and Description: Corolla mostly violet; occasional in tighter sand on slopes and bottom of some sort of man-made trench through gently rolling, mostly vegetated low sand dunes. Associated include Quercus havardii, Artemisia filifolia, Eriogonum annuum, Liatrus punctata, Penstemon fendleri, Schizachyrium scoparium, Sporobolus giganteus, Yucca campestris.
