Habitat and Description: One colony among limestone or dolomite boulders in mesquite-invaded grassland on very shallow, well drained, calcareous, moderate alkaline gravelly loam (Ector-La Casa complex) on fairly level bench near top of steep to moderate slope underlain by Blaine Formation (Permian).
