Habitat and Description: Locally common in disturbed soils and caliche in clearing around capped gas well, foot of sandy slope underlain by Sparta Sand. Associates include Andropogon glomeratus, Bromus japonicus, Castilleja indivisa, Dichanthelium scoparium, Juncus effusus, Liquidambar styraciflua, Lolium multiflorum, Rumex hastatulus, Sabatia campestris, Valerianella radiata.
