Habitat and Description: Rare in area, one plant observed, in pipeline/fenceline clearing in oak-hickory forest on deep, excessively drained fine sand near top of hill underlain by Sparta Sand. Associates include Brazoria pulcherrima, Delphinium sp., Eupatorium compositifolium, Evax candida, Facelis retusa, Hymenopappus artemisiifolius, Lechea mucronata, Monarda punctata, Paronychia drummondii, Paspalum setaceum, Pediomelum rhombifolium, Plantago hookeriana, Polypremum procumbens, Rhynchosia sp., Spermolepis divaricata, Tradescantia sp., Vulpia octoflora, Yucca sp.
