Habitat and Description: Occasional on limestone exposed as low bluffs and boulders on upper part of unshaded to partially shaded W-facing slope. Associates include Acalypha phleoides, Anemia mexicana, Aristolochia serpentaria, Chaptalia texana, Forestiera reticulata, Galactia texana, Mirabilis dumetorum, Parthenocissus quinquefolia, Pellaea atropurpurea, P. ovata, Physalis viscosa, Scutellaria ovata.
