Habitat and Description: Common along edge of deciduous forest on slightly acid fine sand on rolling landscape underlain by Sparta Sand, surrounding well pad clearing. Associates include Agrostis hiemalis, Aira caryophyllea var. capillaris, Anagallis arvensis, Briza minor, Cnidoscolus texanus, Gamochaeta purpurea, Linaria texana, Oenothera laciniata, Plantago hookeriana, Polycarpon tetraphyllum, Rumex hastatulus, Trifolium repens, Triodanis biflora, Vulpia octoflora.
