Habitat and Description: Frequent in wet sand along unshaded margin of small pond at base of natural gas well pad, on rolling landscape underlain by Sparta Sand and generally supporting post oak forest. Associates include Alopecurus carolinianus, Anagallis minimus, Crassula aquatica, Cynodon dactylon, Diodia virginiana, Eleocharis sp., Isolepis carinatus, Juncus bufonius, J. interior, J. marginatus, Panicum hians, Phalaris caroliniana, Polygonum sp., Sagittaria sp., Veronica peregrina.
