Love Creek Quadrangle. Elev. 1900 - 2000 ft.

Habitat and Description: Locally abundant in partially forested canyon bottom at contact between Edwards and Glen Rose formations. Associates include Aesculus pavia, Bothriochloa ischaemum, Carex edwardsiana, C. planostachys, Celtis reticulata, Clematis texensis, Cornus drummondii, Diospyros texana, Eupatorium rugosum, Juglans major, Juniperus ashei (mostly removed), Matelea edwardsensis, M. reticulata, Parthenocissus quinquefolia, Pellaea atropurpurea, Penstemon triflorus, Prenanthes carrii, Prunus serotina ssp. eximia, Pseudognaphalium obtusifolium, Quercus laceyi, Tragia nigricans, Triodanis coloradoensis, Ungnadia speciosa, Vitis cinerea.
