Habitat and Description: Occasional in marsh dominated by Zizaniopsis miliacea, on wet alluvial silt or clay in backwater slough just S of mouth of intermittent drainageway. Associates include Alternanthera philoxeroides, Cyperus ochraceus, Eupatorium serotinum, Ludwigia uruguayensis, Paspalum urvillei, Physostegia angustifolia, Polygonum lapathifolium, Schoenoplectus californicus, S. pungens, Verbena brasiliense, Zizaniopsis miliacea.
