Habitat and Description: Rare on Sneed property, noted only here, in open woodland of cedar elm, live oak and Ashe juniper on gently rolling landscape underlain by Pennsylvanian clay, E side of Caddo Creek. Associates include Eragrostis superba, Juniperus ashei, Lolium multiflorum, Nassella leucotricha, Opuntia leptocaulis, Panicum coloratum, Poa arachnifera, Quercus fusiformis, Simsia calva, Ulmus crassifolia.
