Habitat and Description: Common on unshaded gravel flats on scour plain of Nueces River, W side of Nueces River at end of a county road, across from mouth of Live Oak Creek. Associates include Baccharis salicifolia, Conyza canadense, Croton monanthogynus, Cynodon dactylon, Dichanthium annulatum, Eupatorium serotinum, Eustoma exaltatum, Helianthus annuus, Heliotropium curassavicum, H. tenellum, Melochia pyramidata, Phyla nodiflora, Panicum virgatum, Polanisia dodecandra, Ricinus communis, Setaria parviflora, Sorghum halepense.
