Habitat and Description: Occasional in hay meadow in level upland underlain by Beaumont Formation. Grassland dominated by Dichanthium annulatum. Other associates include Anemone berlandieri, Cirsium texanum, Convolvulus equitans, Euphorbia spathulata, Galium virgatum, Gaura brachycarpa, G. parviflora, Geranium texanum, Helianthus annuus, Lithospermum incisum, Medicago polymorpha, Melilotus alba, M. indicus, Nothoscordum bivalve, Oenothera speciosa, Pyrrhopappus pauciflorus, Ratibida columnifera, Ratibida columnifera, Solanum elaeagnifolium, Sonchus asper, Verbena halei, Vicia sp.
