Habitat and Description: Frequent in herbaceous vegetation on moist clayey-gravelly alluvium on partially shaded banks of perennial stream. Associates include Arundo donax, Bacopa monnieri, Carya illinoinensis, Cephalanthus occidentalis, Cyperus odoratus, Eleocharis geniculata, Eclipta prostrata, Eupatorium serotinum, Eustoma exaltatum, Helenium microcephalum, Justicia americana, Mitreola petiolata, Panicum virgatum, Paspalum langei, Platanus occidentalis, Rhynchospora colorata, Samolus valerandi, Teucrium canadense.
