Habitat and Description: Rare in old hay meadow or crop field on clayey soils of essentially level Beaumont surface.Associates include Ammoselinum popei, Aphanostephus ramosissimus, Buchloe dactyloides, Ciclospermum leptophyllum, Cynodon dactylon, Cyperus acuminatus, Ditaxis humilis, Evax verna, Galium virgatum, Gaura parviflora, Helianthus annuus, Monarda citriodora, Nassella leucotricha, Oenothera speciosa, Ratibida columnifera, Sisyrinchium sp., Stachys crenata, Urochloa fasciculata.
