Habitat and Description: Common on disturbed clay loam on dam and along drying margin of small stock tank in shallow drainageway on gently rolling prairie landscape underlain by Cretaceous limestone (Kiamichi or Duck Creek formation). Associates include Bothriochloa laguroides var. torreyana, Sorghum halepense, Tridens albescens.
