Habitat and Description: Common on disturbed clay loam along drying margin of small stock tank in shallow drainageway on gently rolling prairie landscape underlain by Cretaceous limestone (Kiamichi or Duck Creek formation). Associates include Bothriochloa laguroides var. torreyana, Cynodon dactylon, Tridens albescens.
