Habitat and Description: Occasional in compacted caliche of road through patches of native grassland within matrix of exotics-dominated grassland, on gentle slope underlain by Beaumont Formation. Associates include Dichanthium annulatum, Evolvulus sericeus, Indigofera miniata, Liatris punctata, Machaeranthera pinnatifida, Menodora heterophylla, Ruellia nodiflora, Sporobolus cryptandrus.
