Habitat and Description: Local in disturbed sandy clay on mostly unshaded bermudagrass lawn on level upland underlain by Beaumont Formation. Associates include Alternanthera sp., Amaranthus berlandieri, Cenchrus spinifex, Commelina erecta, Cynodon dactylon, Cyperus rotundus, Dactyloctenium aegyptium, Dichanthium annulatum, Justicia pilosella, Malvastrum coromandelianum, Mimosa strigillosa, Nothoscordum bivalve, Oxalis drummondii, Parthenium hysterophorus, Pennisetum ciliare, Phyla nodiflora, Portulaca pilosa, Ruellia nodiflora, Sida ciliaris, Solanum elaeagnifolium, Urochloa maxima, U. panicoides.
