Habitat and Description:
Rare in frequently mown grassland (lawn) on somewhat sandy soil on level upland underlain by Beaumont Formation. Associates include Aristida purpurea, Bouteloua rigidiseta, Cynodon dactylon, Digitaria cognata, Hedeoma sp., Linum rigidum, Mimosa uncinata, Pediomelum rhombifolium, Plantago hookeriana.
