Habitat and Description: Rare in weedy young hackberry woodland on level (formerly cultivated) terrace on sandy to silty alluvium. Associates include. Bromus japonicus, Calyptocarpus vialis, Celtis laevigata, Clematis drummondii, Cnidoscolus texanus, Croton texensis, Ehretia anacua, Emus virginicus, Parkinsonia aculeata, Prosopis glandulosa, Sorghum halepense, Ulmus americana, Vitis mustangensis, Zanthoxylum clava-herculis.
