Habitat and Description: Frequent in occasionally mown (bush-hogged, shredded) opening in mixed young woodland on rolling landscape underlain by Weches Formation. Associates include Anemone heterophylla, Arnoglossum plantagi-neum, Briza minor, Bromus japonicus, Calamintha arkansana, Chaerophyllum tainturieri, Cornus drummondii, Desmodium virgatum, Dracopis amplexicaulis, Erigeron sp., Euphorbia spathu-lata, Galium aparine, Geranium sp., Ipomopsis rubra, Ligustrum sinense, Lonicera japonica, L. sempervirens, Melilotus indicus, Oenothera speciosa, Plantago virginica, Polytaenia nuttallii, Rhus glabra, Rosa bracteata, Smilax bona-nox, Solidago sp., Sorghum halepense, Triodanis perfoliata, Valerianella radiata, Vernonia baldwinii.
