Habitat and Description: Occasional in bed of sand ranch road through open mesquite savanna on deep well drained neutral fine sand (Sarita Series, Grossarenic Paleustalfs) on level to very gently undulating topography of South Texas Sand Sheet. Associates include Aristida sp., Cenchrus spinifex, Diodia teres, Eragrostis sp., Herissantia crispa, Waltheria indica, Urochloa ciliatissima.
